What an animated logo is for

An animated logo is your existing mark built to move. Three to ten seconds of it assembling, revealing or settling into place, used at the top and tail of video, on social, in presentations and on screens.

It is not a redesign. The logo stays exactly as it is. What changes is that it now has a way of arriving.

How we build it

The animation comes out of the logo itself rather than being applied on top of it. If the mark is built from overlapping shapes, those shapes are what move. If it is a wordmark, the letterforms carry it. The aim is that the movement looks like it was always part of the design.

We work from your vector artwork, so every edge stays sharp at any size. If you only have a flattened JPG or PNG we will need to redraw the logo first, and we will tell you that before quoting rather than after.

Sound, or no sound

Most animated logos are watched without sound, on a phone, with the volume off. So the animation has to work silently first. Where you want audio, a short sting can be added and supplied as a separate track so you can drop it or keep it depending on where the video is going.

What you get

An MP4 for video editing and social, a version with a transparent background for laying over footage, and a looping version for websites and screens in receptions or at exhibitions. Square and vertical crops are supplied where you need them for social.

You own the finished animation outright once the project is paid, and the project file is kept so a later change does not mean starting again.
