Real client work
The van is the brief
Pressure washing is won locally, and most of your marketing is a vehicle parked outside a job. That is the real test for the logo, and it is a harsh one. It has to be read from across a road, often at speed, usually in poor Irish light, by somebody who is not looking for you.
That rules out a lot. Thin lines disappear. Pale blues vanish against a bright sky. Detailed illustrations of water turn into a smudge. Anything with more than two or three elements stops being readable at distance.
What we draw instead
A strong simple shape, heavy enough type to hold up at forty kilometres an hour, and enough contrast that it still reads on a grey day. Water and pressure can be suggested without drawing every droplet.
We design it in one colour before we design it in colour, because a mark that works as a solid black shape works everywhere. That also happens to be what a signwriter needs for cut vinyl, which is how most van graphics are actually made.
Everywhere else it has to live
The logo does not stop at the van. It goes on quotes and invoices, on polo shirts and hi vis, on a signboard left at a completed job, on Facebook and Google listings where local customers compare you against three others.
You get versions built for each of those. A stacked version for square spaces, a horizontal version for the side of a vehicle, a single colour version for embroidery and vinyl, and a reversed version for dark backgrounds.
Who this is for
Pressure washing and power washing contractors, exterior and render cleaning companies, gutter and roof cleaning services, driveway and patio cleaning businesses, and commercial cleaning firms tendering for contracts where looking established is part of winning the work.
